Description:

The main ingredient of the extinguisher CO2, will extinguish the flames by displacing oxygen. The pressurized CO2 gas is cold which also acts as a coolant to the burning fuels.
It is important to note that CO2 extinguishers Shouldn’t be Used for Class A fires since the CO2 may not be enough to displace oxygen since materials that causes Class A fires can smolder and re-ignite.
